They lived in Kernersville almost all of their married lives, had long careers in education and raised their children on land that has been in the family for 100 years.

This sale has: vintage telephones, Swaim furniture, UNC memorabilia; lots of tables, lamps, bookcases and vintage toys. There are appliances: a washer, a dryer and a dishwasher. And you can purchase the kitchen cabinets. The lawn and garden items include a John Deere mower, blower, wheelbarrow and two-wheeled cart, as well as an assortment of gardening tools, vintage pots and a tobacco chopper made into a planter. There is a large assortment of tools in the stick-built workshop out back.

The UNC memorabilia includes a large, framed ram print signed by Dean Smith. There are all kinds of collectibles including a Remington typewriter, Gone with the Wind paper dolls, Big Little books and framed art by local artists. And there are books, kitchenware, holiday decorations and much more.

If you can figure out how to move them, there are three outbuildings available. Plenty of parking will be available in the front yard, a helper will direct you.
